Former TFC President Bill Manning exits MLSE

Manning joined MLSE in 2015 and oversaw TFC's MLS Cup victory in 2017.

He also oversaw the launch of the club's new stadium, BMO Field.

Bill Manning is no longer with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE). The company and Manning have mutually agreed to part ways, effective immediately.

Manning joined MLSE in October 2015 as President of Toronto FC. He was also responsible for the company's soccer operations, including the development of the first team, the academy, and the women's team.

Under Manning's leadership, Toronto FC won the MLS Cup in 2017. The club also reached the MLS Cup final in 2016 and 2019.

In addition to his work with Toronto FC, Manning also oversaw the launch of the club's new stadium, BMO Field. The stadium opened in 2016 and has been a major success, hosting a number of international matches and concerts.

MLSE has not yet announced who will replace Manning as President of Toronto FC.
