Cooler Temperatures This Weekend

After a week of hot and humid weather, cooler temperatures are finally on the way. A cold front will move through the area late Friday night, bringing with it much cooler air.

High temperatures on Saturday will only be in the low 80s, with low humidity. Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s.

Warming Up Next Week

The cooler weather will be short-lived, however. Temperatures will start to warm up again on Sunday, and by Monday, we'll be back in the low 90s.

The humidity will also start to increase again on Sunday, making it feel even hotter.

Tips to Stay Cool

Here are a few tips to stay cool during the hot weather:

• Drink plenty of fluids, even if you don't feel thirsty.
• Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.
• Wear loose-fitting, light-colored clothing.
• Take cool showers or baths.
• Spend time in air-conditioned places.
