Section of U.S. 17 closed in Brunswick County and other traffic impacts due to flooding

A section of U.S. 17 in Brunswick County is closed due to flooding, and other roads in the area are also experiencing flooding and delays.
The closed section of U.S. 17 is between Holden Beach Road and Shallotte Point Road. The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is advising motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

- N.C. 904 near the Columbus County line
- N.C. 130 near Leland
